Financing Options

The Primer Course (11 Hours, 6 classes) has a separate tuition of $300 and must be paid in full at the start of the course. This course will enable the applicant to get familiar with the program and the instructor, and at the same time, have their basic aptitude evaluated. In this way, he or she can be confident that the full 10 month course will be beneficial to them as a potential career.The Primer must be passed to qualify for entrance into the Theory and Practice of Audio Recording.

Theory and Practice of Audio Recording - 195 Hours, 10 Months: $8975.

There are three options for financing:

  1. Payment in Full
    Payable two weeks prior to start of the course, $8975. The student will receive a Laptop Computer or ProTools Mini M Box, compliments of the school.

  2. Sallie Mae Loan
    This loan will allow a student to take the entire course with no tuition payments due till after they graduate. Loan can be extended from 1 to 15 years. In addition, students securing this loan and paying on time, will be awarded a substantial boost in their credit score. (Please note that this is an unsecured student loan and the interest rate typically will be higher than a mortgage or car loan)

  3. REI Private Loan
    For individuals not qualified for a Sallie Mae loan or wish to pay for the course directly. Down payment two weeks prior to start of course: Minimum of $2000. The remainder can be adjusted in accordance with your monthly budget. We will work with you. However, payment in full of $8975 must be completed by graduation. As a courtesy to our students, 0% interest will be charged for this REI Private Loan.
